EXPERIENCE
The Scene Machine is a cutting edge platform for hosting immersive Jubensha games. Take your players on a journey of light, music, and mind blowing special effects, making their experience one they'll never forget.
Everything on the stage is shared, so the whole table sees each twist at once.
Change the art, music and ambience for everyone with one click, from a candlelit study to the storm outside.
Each player takes a character, and their portrait joins the tray at the bottom of the stage.
Deal cards to the table: clues, rumors and the twists that crack the case.
For games that roll: describe it, like "Search 1d20", and everyone sees the result over your tile.
Scripts, evidence and notes that the whole table can read and edit at the same time.
The host's controls for scenes, music, ambience and the look of the stage.
Scene Machine was built for Rabbit Hole's Jubensha rooms in Louisville, Colorado. Every game hands each player a script, a secret and a vote. Gather your friends, pick a date, and find out who did it.
A village burned to the ground decades ago. Something in the ashes remembers.
New Year's Eve at an English manor, and one guest won't see midnight.
Old rituals and ghost stories in modern New Orleans.
A spring ball, a room full of masks, and one guest who never leaves.
Jubensha is the immersive mystery game that swept China, where some 15 million people play it in about 45,000 shops. Each player takes a character with a backstory, goals and secrets. The table roleplays, examines evidence, questions each other and finally votes on the culprit. There are no stats and no combat: just clue cards, sealed envelopes, props and each other.
Rabbit Hole hosts English-language Jubensha games in Louisville, Colorado, and Scene Machine is what runs them: surround sound, scripted lighting and special effects, cued scene by scene. Coming from out of town? Write to concierge@rabbithole.rs for help with travel and lodging.
